Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Northern Ireland education officer Jennifer Maguire celebrates with University of Ulster Jordanstown PR student Laura Dowd who won the CIPR NI Best Public Relations Student Award at a ceremony in the university.

Public relations consultant, Jennifer Maguire, has been awarded the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Northern Ireland 'Chairman's Award' for her outstanding contribution to the local PR industry during 2004.

Jennifer, who is the director of Core Communications, received the trophy from outgoing Chairman Mark Smith at the recent CIPR NI annual general meeting.

Mark says "Jennifer thoroughly deserved this honour for all her hard work as the Committee's Education and Student Officer, and in particular the effort she contributed to bringing the CIPR Diploma course to Belfast for the first time in the Institute's history".
