Jayne Maguire

Jayne is our Project Manager and is responsible for the management of specific clinical trials and overall monitoring resources.As well as ensuring the efficient organisation and implementation of our clinical trials, Jayne also has a hands-on approach to monitoring.This methodology allows Jayne to maintain a good understanding of the issues arising at site and the problems encountered by the CRAs thus ensuring effective management and productive and timely trials.Jayne is part of Tower Mains' Training and Mentoring Team, with particular emphasis on the practicalities of effective monitoring.She also creates study-specific documentation including CRFs and questionnaires.

Jayne has been involved in clinical trials for many years.After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Pharmacology in 1997, she began her career as a CRA for a world leading medical device company, where she was pivotal in the delivering of one of the biggest medical device trials to date.After developing her management skills she then moved on to work for a CRO working with many of the major pharmaceutical companies.Jayne has extensive experience in phase I-IV trials in a wide range of therapeutic areas including cardiology, endocrinology, urogynaecology, erectile dysfunction, mental health, orthopaedics and neuropathy
