Condominium co-owner and LaPorte Chrysler Dodge Jeep President Bob Magnuson is confident they'll be able to sell out the first-phase condos soon.

Magnuson said he thought other condominiums would have been constructed on Pine Lake before they hatched the idea.

"I'm surprised no one has done it sooner.We might be the only one.There's not too much room to do this."

Fedorchak and Magnuson are marketing their upscale development toward exactly that clientele.

Partners with Fedorchak in the project is Bob Magnuson, president of LaPorte Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep.

Sheriff Jim Arnold presented the commission with a letter from Robert Magnuson, owner of LaPorte Chrysler Plymouth stating the county needs to move out of the building at 1310 Pine Lake Ave. by July 1.

On Tuesday, May 2nd, Robert Magnuson, Owner, LaPorte Chrysler-Plymouth, made a substantial and much needed donation to assist the International Friendship Gardens (IFG), a 100-acre ethnic garden in Michigan City, with its current restoration efforts.

An eleven passenger electric E-Z-Go Cart, valued at $ 7, 000 was delivered to the Gardens for a portion of the cost.

"We were hoping for a little more but that's kind of what we expected," said Bob Magnuson, owner of LaPorte Chrysler.

Magnuson and his brother, Jim, on Tuesday auctioned off the 57-acre spread they purchased in 1999, three years after Finley's death.
