Ms. Madden brings a 20-year history of progressively responsible acute care, home health, and informatics management experience to CurranCare.In addition to her leadership roles in these arenas, she has facilitated re-engineering and information system implementation projects.
Ms. Madden has spent four years developing, training, and implementing clinical information systems.As Vice President of Clinical Consulting for Ergo Partners, she researched, selected, organized, and documented the clinical languages that were used in the proprietary clinical management software the company developed.She also authored a self-study guide that is used to teach the use of standardized clinical languages such as NANDA, NIC, and NOC to electronically record the management and delivery of patient care from admission through patient discharge.Because of her leading-edge work, Ms. Madden has co-presented with some of the country's most respected informatics and clinical language development experts.
During Ms. Madden's 10 years in home care she managed clinical and operational competence and compliance of 118 home health locations in a three state's largest national home health providers.She also implemented a large hospital/home health management contract and lead clinical peers on a re-engineering team responsible for policy and process development, documentation, and training material content a for new "Standard Operating Model" for home care agencies.Ms. Madden's also served as Director of Clinical Services and Medicare Administrator for Columbia, South Carolina agency that delivered Medicare, Medicaid and private services, including IV therapy, and high technology pediatric home care.She has a proven track record in business mix change and marketing high-tech private home care product lines.
As an acute care practitioner, Ms. Madden has acted as charge nurse, administrative supervisor, and floor nurse in medical-surgical, step-down coronary care, and internal medicine units.She also has experience in drug treatment, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention in psychiatric rehabilitation units.
Ms. Madden received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma and her Critical Care Certification from the Greenville Technical College.
