HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. - Francis Henry Madden (Frank) passed away on Saturday, March 27 at Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House after a short illness.He was born on August 13, 1905 to Albie Steiner and F. H. Madden, Sr. in Portland, Ore. and was married to the late Astrid Marie Olson and to the late Georgia Carolyn Arnold.

He was a longtime resident of Wilmette, Ill., later moving to The Landings on Skidaway Island, Savannah, Ga., Cumberland Village, Aiken, and then to Lake Pointe Landing, Hendersonville, N.C.Mr. Madden, a graduate of Kent College of Law, Chicago, Ill., was an attorney and member on the Illinois Bar Association for 51 years.He was the oldest living past master of the Masonic Lodge #931 in Wilmette, Ill., an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Evanston, Ill. and an avid golfer.He was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a founding member of the Skidaway Island Community Church, and a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church.
