Don was admitted as a solicitor in 1983 and has practised exclusively in Litigation and Commercial Disputes since that time.His experience covers the conduct of matters in the areas of Debt Recovery, Insolvency, Contractual Disputes, Building and Construction Disputes, Wills and Estate Disputes and general Commercial Litigation as well as Family Law Litigation.
Don's commercial experience and qualifications have given him particular insight in relation to business and commercial issues that often arise in complex commercial, partnership, corporate and family disputes.
In his over 20 years of practice he has appeared as an advocate or instructed counsel in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts as well as the Federal Court, the Federal Magistrates Court, Family Court and various Federal and State Tribunals.
He was Accredited as a Specialist in the practice of Family Law in 1996 when the opportunity to be recognised as a Specialist in that area of practice was first offered by the Queensland Law Society.He was accepted as an Accredited Specialist in New South Wales as well from 2000 to 2003 when he practised in Sydney as well as Brisbane.
