CYNTHIA MACLEOD, Partner

Cynthia has developed and applied FA's highly successful Managing for Results framework, which enables management of complex, cross-functional strategies in global multinationals. She has extensive experience in organization strategy and design, fact-based analysis, and technology and operations modernization for the automotive, financial services, health care and non-profit sectors. Cynthia spearheaded a capability-driven strategy at a leading multinational, which contributed to profit growth of 59% over three years; she led the management and roll-out of an IT modernization project costing $15 million involving innovative technologies and frameworks; and developed a new market entrant strategy with a projected $40 million in additional operating profit for a client. She has also developed unique and effective methods for facilitating for CEOs and Executive Management in strategic alignment and cross-functional collaboration and effectiveness.

Cynthia received her Masters degree in Technological and Economic Planning from Roskilde University in Denmark, and a BA with high honors from Wesleyan University. She has lived in China, the Middle East and Europe, and speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Cynthia R. Macleod, Program Developer and Web Master, is former head of the Religion and Ethics Department at Brooklyn Friends School.She graduated from Wesleyan University with High Honors and is currently completing her M.Sc. in Environmental, Technological and Socio-Economic Planning.She has lived and studied in China, Jerusalem and Denmark and wrote her honors thesis on Television's effects on education.
