  Minneapolis, MN, April 23, 2009 - Modern Survey President Don MacPherson was one of three speakers invited to present to the MnCUPA 2009 Spring Conference themed, "Beyond the Storm: HR strategies to navigate the current economic downturn. The conference was held at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, on Tuesday, April 21, 2009.
  
  Presenting on the topic of employee engagement, MacPherson delivered an educational look at what employee engagement is, how it benefits organizations, what can be done to assess employee engagement levels, and how employee engagement can be leveraged to impact an organization's bottom line.
  
  In keeping with the conference's theme, MacPherson also discussed current employee engagement statistics for the U.S. workforce, what the trends mean, how the economic climate is impacting engagement, and what engagement concerns may arise as economic recovery unfolds.
  
  "I'm grateful for the opportunity to present on this most important topic," said MacPherson.
