Vice-president/Cyberspace Nora Miller lives in Portland, Oregon, where she works as information systems manager for a small energy-oriented government agency.While getting her degree in mathematics from Johnson State College in the late 70s, she found Science and Sanity and reading it changed her life.Since then she has made an effort to integrate general semantics formulations in her thinking and writing.She contends that such brain-training provided a great deal of needed stability and comfort during the loss of her husband in 1999.For this new century, she intends to contribute more directly to the study and promotion of general semantics principles and to the continued success of the Society.
