After graduating from the University of St. Thomas, he has been active in the fields of music and real estate and has proven himself well in both areas, with a real estate emphasis in the Mac Groveland, River Road and Highland areas.

"First impressions are very important to me and the first call to a realtor would have been a "make or break" deal: Adam had me hooked. I wasn't really thinking about buying my own place but continuing to pay rent just seemed ridiculous. So just for fun, I searched a bit on the internet. I filled several contact information on various websites and before I knew it, Adam Maas had contacted me and we were chatting away. Of course, I had asked as many questions I could come up with, perhaps purposely testing Adam's patience level but he was extremely patient in answering all my questions. By the time we started looking at condominiums together, I couldn't believe it was actually happening. He continually reassured me from the start that he was "looking out for my best interest". And he did. My husband is a student and we are a one-income family. I didn't think we could buy a place with our small loan but Adam helped us find a wonderful place even within our tight budget. Through the entire process, approving the loan to closing the deal, Adam was incredible. He was extremely accessible as though he has his Blackberry glued to his hand! All hours of the day, even during the weekends, I could call him to check up on our status (that is, if he hadn't first called us!) or just to vent my frustrations about life. Adam was, and is, so personable and just loved to help in any way possible. He's honest, smart and passionate about work and life! My favorite thing about working with Adam was that he NEVER pressured us and I felt he treated us as he would a million-dollar home buyer. My husband and I have only lived in Minnesota for almost two years now but I wish we had a larger network of friends and family so we could refer them to Adam. "In September of 2005, I used Adam Maas as my Realtor to purchase my first home. Working with Adam was a genuine pleasure. Not only did he go out of his way to set up showings and make sure that the properties met my criteria, he would set up one location that I could meet him at. Then he would take on the responsibility of driving to each showing so that I could concentrate on evaluating and taking notes on each property that we looked at. Upon arriving at each showing I really appreciated Adams honesty. When he felt an owner was asking too much or the property did not meet our expectations from his initial screening he was quick to remove the property from our list of ones to consider and replace it with another. Once Adam did find a property that met my every need (and there were many) he went right to work lining up paper work and scheduling meetings with the seller's agent. Adam explained all the paper work that I needed to complete very thoroughly and presented the information in an easy to understand format. "Adam Maas did a tremendous job of leading us through the complicated business of buying our first home. He was patient and thorough in explaining the process, and was always available. If we left a message on his phone or sent him an email, he got back to us the same day, usually within an hour or two. His easy-going, no-pressure demeanor meant that we never felt foolish asking a question or taking our time in making a decision. In fact, his personality was a major reason we were able to purchase our home for less than a competing bid. The sellers told us that they had rejected the higher offer and accepted ours because the high bidder was so pushy and demanding and because we were so accommodating. All of our contact with the sellers was via Adam. Once we were in the house, Adam frequently checked on us to make sure we hadn't encountered any surprises. He contacted the sellers several times to ask questions about small things - like how to operate the coded garage door opener (we lost the code), or where to find a faucet shut off valve (it was hidden in the ceiling).
