Mr. Lupinacci most recently taught at the Beacon School in the Alternative High School District in New York City.There, he was an instructor in algebra, geometry, English, film, philosophy and integrated science.He also chaired the programming committee, was a member of the School Leadership Team, and served as the Dean of Discipline.Prior to his work at the Beacon School, Michael was a teacher and coach at the Loyola School in New York from 1991 to 1994 and taught in an alternative school program in cooperation with the Westbury School District from 1989 to 1991.In 1989 he co-founded G.R.A.B., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth break the cycle of poverty in New Cassel, New York.Michael is currently enrolled in a Masters of Arts program for Communication and Education at Columbia University Teachers College in New York City.He received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy in 1989 from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.Michael has also completed an intensive film program at New York University's School of Continuing Education.
