G&K Services Announces the Addition of a New Management Team Member; Damian J. Luna joins G&K as Senior Vice President, Sales
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2004--G&K Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:GKSRA), one of North America's market leaders in corporate identity apparel programs and facility services, announced today that Damian J. Luna will join the company on May 17, 2004 as senior vice president, sales.

Luna joins G&K as senior vice president, sales and will be responsible for managing national accounts and the entire field sales function including planning, implementing, delivering, leading and evaluating G&K's sales efforts.Luna spent 18 years with Nalco Company, a provider of integrated water treatment and process improvement services, chemicals and equipment programs.He was most recently worldwide strategic business leader for the Food & Beverage and Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Divisions, responsible for sales and marketing teams, driving strategies to maximize market penetration.He held various management positions including sales, marketing, general and international management.Rapidly advancing throughout his tenure, he successfully established and implemented strategic business plans, which increased growth and profitability, built cohesive management teams and fostered technology advances.Prior to Nalco Company, he was a sales engineer with American Pipe Inspection, Inc. and also worked at Amoco Production Company.
Luna earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.He is a member of various associations, including American Petroleum Institute, National Petrochemical & Refiner's Association, National Association of Corrosion Engineers and American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
