Beth Lum joined Counterpoint in 1997 and concentrates on supporting applications and services in the healthcare arena, both from an insurance and practice management viewpoint.

Prior to joining Counterpoint, Beth was the assistant-vice president of Management Information Systems at Prepaid Health Plan (PHP), a Syracuse-based HMO currently known as Univera.At PHP, she was responsible for project management, analysis, and computer support for the following applications: medical records, patient registration, appointment scheduling, utilization review, Health Center billing, enrollment, group billing, claims processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, purchasing, workflow management, provider database, customer service, document management, mental health triage, and provider directory.

Beth previously held various information technology positions at Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. and MONY.

Beth specializes in project management, problem definition, process re-engineering, process improvement, data warehouse planning and design, data conversion, system implementation, system interfaces, HEDIS and HIPPA compliance services.She has extensive experience in both the PC and mainframe environments.Beth holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from SUNY Oswego.
