Amanda Lum

Ms. Lum graduated in 2003 from Peninsula High in Palos Verdes, CA.She finished High School with a 3.73 GPA and was a member of National Honor Society, California Scholastic Federation, and Spanish Honor Society.She received a Governor's Scholarship and California Asian Peace Officers' Association Scholarship.She worked with both "A Walk in Your Shoes" service club and Environmental and Animal service clubs.

As a Badminton athlete she played 4 years of Varsity Badminton, at 2003 Junior National Champanionships she finished 2nd in U-22 GS, 2nd in U-19 GS, and 2nd in U-19 GD.She was a member of the U-19 Girls National Team.She had earlier competed in the XIII Pan American Junior Championships with a 4th place finish in Girls Doubles.

Finally and most prestigiously she was awarded the 2003 Ken Davidson Junior Sportsmanship Award by her peers for best representing the highest qualities of the sport.
