   After Graduating in 1983 he joined SDRC, as a member of the software product development team, starting with a line function and ending with managerial roles over the 1980s. After 10 years with SDRC, Lukose joined SGI (India) as head of technical marketing for high end computing. He played a key role in SGI establishing itself as leading high end computing company in India. He then moved to a large business house to start their Engineering Application Services Company for both Domestic and Global markets. Later in 2001 moved to Strand Genomics an informatics startup based in Bangalore. Currently Lukose is an Independent Consultant.
   
   With over 20 years of experience in the global IT industry behind him, Lukose will be head of Technical Consulting with TDNett Knowledge. Lukose has his B.Tech in Mechanical from IIT Madras, and a Masters in Engineering from Cornell University, US.

   Bangalore based Altair Engineering has announced the appointment of Kuruvilla Lukose as Chief Technology Officer - Altair Engineering India.In his role, he will not only provide technical leadership to all the technical groups in India, but also provide new approaches and techniques for scaling to meet the ever increasing demands without losing out on quality.
   
   Lukose is an IT industry veteran with over 25 years of experience.He has a vast and varied experience profile having worked in software development at SDRC, Ohio for 10 years and later on heading the technical marketing position for Silicon Graphics in India.Subsequently he was the principal consultant to TAFE helping them set up their engineering services division and followed this up by working with Strand Genomics as their Chief Information Officer.
   
   Kuruvilla Lukose is a post graduate from Cornell University and a graduate from IIT - Chennai.Prior to joining Altair Engineering, Kuruvilla Lukose was a consultant to National Institute of Design, Silicon Graphics and Aeronautical Development Agency for high end visualization and engineering projects.
   
   According to Pavan Kumar, Managing Director-India/Asean, Its a previlege to have Kuruvilla Lukose on board, his vast experience and technical expertise will be valuable for Altair Engineering.

   IIT Madras Alumnus, Kuruvilla Lukose (1979 BT CE), is appointed as Chief Technology Officer of Altair Engg.India.
   
   Altair, founded in 1985 and privately held with offices in 14 countries, provides product design consulting, advanced engineering software, and high performance computing technologies, and is the leading provider of high-end, open CAE (Computer Aided Engg.) software solutions for modeling, visualization, optimization and process automation.
   
   Kuruvilla is a veteran of the information technology industry with over 25 years of experience.He worked on software development at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC), Ohio, from 1983 to 1993.He served in a technical marketing position at Silicon Graphics (SGI) in India.He was principal consultant, TAFE, and helped it set up its engineering services division.He has also served Strand Genomics as chief information officer.
