   Ms. Lui brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skills in the area of Internet telecommunication , Satellite operations and Video broadcasting related experiences. She was appointed as Intelsat's Managing Director , Regional Support Center , Asia Pacific. Ms. Lui managed Intelsat Asia-Pacific ( a Global Satellite Consortium consists of more than 140 countries to provide worldwide telecommunications services ) as well as the chief person in charge of developing new businesses and marketing Intelsat's services. Ms. Lui secured the first internet backbone connectivity between Taiwan - USA and North Korea - USA , using INTELSAT , bringing the total traffic volume to more than 1000 MBPS internet backbone service between North America and Asia. Ms. Lui also spent almost ten years with Cable & Wireless , Hong Kong Telecom ( C&W HKT ) in the area of broadcast and fixed satellite service as the manager of business and product development. Her responsibilities included formulating marketing , new product development and pricing strategies for International TV and World Broadcast Services. She also developed and managed C&W HKT's international sales channels. Ms. Lui will be based in Hong Kong and will oversee Q-east's marketing and sales effort for the entire region.
