Mr. John Luff

John Luff joined Ipes as Chief Finance Officer in 2006, following ten years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Guernsey.During his time at PWC, John worked as a Senior Manager, providing audit, structuring, accounting and investment valuation advice to private equity funds.

John Luff has been appointed Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Channel Islands, as the firm looks to continue to strengthen its specialist assurance services.

In his new senior role, Mr Luff will be responsible for expanding PwC's private equity and venture capital assurance business further, and for establishing new client relationships in this area.

An expert in investment management and insurance, particularly in the management and administration of private equity and venture capital funds, Mr Luff rejoins PwC's Guernsey office having spent a year working in industry as Chief Finance Officer at a private equity fund administrator in Guernsey.

Mr Luff began his career with Coopers & Lybrand in Guernsey in 1996, qualifying as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999.

He has also served on the Board of several General Partners of offshore private equity funds, and has been involved in the audit of numerous entities in many private equity and venture capital structures.
