Jeff Luesley

Jeff Luesley (Group Chairman) Jeff started his career with Johnson Matthey plc, one of the world's leading precious metal refiners.He joined Inspectorate in 1988 as UK manager, working within the Group to lead the MBO in 1992 when he was joint Managing Director.In 1993 Jeff became Chief Executive of Inspectorate and was appointed to the BSI Board in 1998 when Inspectorate was sold to BSI.Jeff left the Group in 2000 to work as a business consultant, both in UK and US, advising companies in turnaround situations.He re-joined in 2005 as Managing Director following the acquisition of Inspectorate by Inspicio, and in July 2006, took up the position of Chairman of the Inspectorate Group.

Inspicio also announced that from July 1, Jeff Luesley will become chairman of the group with Neil Hopkins, currently President Americas, to take on the role of managing director.

Inspectorate's management team will remain in place and Jeff Luesley, the company's Chief Executive Officer will join the main BSI board immediately.Commenting on the acquisition, he said:

Appointment of Jeff Luesley as Managing Director of Inspectorate Group

Following the acquisition of Inspectorate, the global inspection and testing group on 13 October 2005, the Board of Inspicio plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Luesley as Managing Director of Inspectorate Group ("Inspectorate"), a subsidiary of Inspicio.Jeff will assist in the restructuring of the enlarged group and, more specifically, implementation of the turnaround strategy.

Jeff has extensive experience in the inspection and testing sector.From 1988-2000 he was MD-UK, and then CEO (1992) of Inspectorate plc.Initially operating the business under Swiss control, Jeff oversaw the MBO and then subsequent sale of the business to BSI, where he became a Main Board director.During his tenure, Jeff turned the business from being loss making,to a business generating £6.6 million of operating profit, growing it geographically to have a presence in over 90 locations.

Since 2001, Jeff has been an independent consultant, acting for such businesses as Eclipse, a major UK food testing business, and John Lawrie Group, the international metal processing and trading business.
