"When our members look at our new logo, they'll see the visual representation of concepts that were new and important shifts in the vision and mission - ideas surrounding unity, student achievement, advocacy and leadership," ASBSD Executive Director Wayne Lueders said.

"Another important change in the identity is including figures that represent children," Lueders said."Everything school boards do, the policies and direction they set, are focused on creating the conditions that allow students to achieve."
The larger star figure represents all those who help students achieve, including school board members, administrators and teachers."The adult figure can be anyone in the system," Lueders said.
