...
Doug played soccer for 10 years before discovering his two favorite sports of skiing and inline skating. He has been skiing since 1983 and inline skating since 1984.Doug also enjoys motocross and playing roller hockey. He bought one of the earliest Rollerblade skate models back in the mid 1980s and has been skating ever since. He quickly saw the benefits of inline skating as a conditioning tool for ski racing. In the early 1990s he worked for Rollerblade Corporation as a prototype tester.
the look: Form follows function, right? The futuristic look is a result of proven aerodynamic principles allowing Doug to slice through the air like a knife. From the star wars looking helmet to the wing-shaped leg fairings and sleek rubber speed suit, this wind-tunnel tested technology makes Doug super aerodynamic and really fast.Even the elongated flexible skate frame with its unique wheel configuration provides Doug with maximum stability at higher speeds.
goals: Doug's goal is to revolutionize the sport of downhill skating with his patented invention, StreetSki, now the worlds fastest inline skate product. He is currently planning to set a new world record and is determined to be the first person to break the elusive 100 mph (161 km/h) barrier.
