Rev. Lowell Lucas, minister for the singles, college, and youth groups, says they've done three productions of the drama over the past four years and each has been different.
"It's a different scenario every time, anything from an eight- to a 10-scene walk-through drama," he said, adding every production has certain elements in common -- a catastrophe in which something tragic happens, a judgment scene, a scene in hell and a scene in heaven.
This year's catastrophe will be a tornado scene in which an entire basketball team is killed, he said.Lucas said the production is suitable for all ages, though certain scenes may be frightening to very young children. He said the church provides volunteers who will walk the children outside of the area where the scary scenes are portrayed to meet parents at another site on the walk through tour.
Lucas said they've had 3,000-4,000 people view the production each year they've done it.
The production is free, but a $3 donation is suggested.
