Liz Lucas, director of Theo Art School, remembers 50 years ago, when she was in eighth grade, walking into her art class -- into a Bismarck High School room that she thinks was used for junior high and senior high art classes.

Liz Lucas, Theo art school@hotmail.com, Executive DirectorLiz Lucas graduated from the University of Mary with a BS degree in elementary education in 1975and received her MA degree in Education Administration in 1993.She taught for 22 years in schoolsin Bismarck and retired from teaching in 1996.Liz has three grown children and three grandchildren, is active in the Bismarck-Mandan community:Chapter F, PEO; Fortnightly Study Club; Bismarck-Mandan Elks Lodge; First Presbyterian Church;North Dakota Retired Teachers; North Dakota Education Association; NEA; North Dakota StateHistorical Society, and the Society for the Preservationof the Former Governors' Mansion, and serves on the board for the Society for the Preservationof the Former Governors' Mansion.Liz likes to read, cook, garden and everything artistic!
