Justin Lowe

Justin Lowe is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Randolph High School in Ramseur, NC.He is now a junior Teaching Fellow at North Carolina State University, majoring in agricultural education.Justin is an active member of the NCSU Agricultural and Extension Education Club and serves as co-vice president of the Collegiate FFA Chapter.

During high school, Justin was very active in the Junior Civitans, FCA, and FFA.Justin,s FFA advisor,s Mr. Raymond Caviness, Mrs. Marguerite Fields, and Mrs. Amy Kidd always encouraged him to excel.

Justin also participated in his chapter,s Food For America, Fun on the Farm Day, Give a Kid a Coat, Relay for Life and PALS programs, which were very exciting and enjoyable.

Justin,s Supervised Agriculture Experience began as an apprentice at Allen Nursery and Eastern Randolph High School Greenhouse and Nursery as a greenhouse worker.Soon he developed a partnership with his parents and built a small greenhouse to raise plants and sell to a niche market.Through Justin,s SAE and FFA experience he was able to receive his American FFA Degree and was a national finalist in the 2003 floriculture proficiency award.

FFA was able to instill in Justin how to take his dreams and turn them into reality.He hopes to be able to motivate and inspire FFA members to ,not only dream of a bright future but to build it with their own hands.,
