Elected last month to replace Rita Cleveland, who resigned from the position, Justice Lowe joins Chief Justice Mary Jo Hunter and Mark Butterfield on the Nation's highest court.

Justice Lowe, a 1985 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School currently serves as Deputy Attorney General for the Forest Band Potawatomi in Crandon, WI. As a staff attorney for the Ho-Chunk Nation and later its Attorney General, she is credited with having a major role in developing the Nation's Court System, now in its seventh year.
Following the oath, administered by Election Board Chairperson, Vaughn Pettibone, Justice Lowe acknowledged she was "privileged to serve".Noting that "I have traveled many paths in my life", she added that each path provided an opportunity to grow and learn and she looks forward to using that knowledge in her new duties.
In welcoming Justice Lowe, Chief Justice Hunter stated that she believes the Court System is the "essence of self government" sustaining the culture, preserving the tradition and giving the Nation the power "to govern ourselves".She added that the Court System is constantly changing, "the system cannot remain stagnant", and is confident that Justice Lowe has the experience to successfully adapt to the changing roles, needs and procedures of the Court.
