Dr. Love

Dr. Andrew Love is the owner and hospital director of Webster Groves Animal Hospital. A Missouri native with a lifelong interest in veterinary medicine, Dr. Love first opened Webster Groves in 1965 and initially ran the practice with his wife out of a small two-story building.

He began his undergraduate education at Hannibal LaGrange College but later transferred to the University of Missouri, Columbia, where he received his Bachelor's Degree. He completed his veterinary education there at the same time and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1964.

Dr. Love and his wife, Ethel, are the proud parents of three children and one granddaughter.

Dr. Love is a Missouri native who first knew he wanted to be a veterinarian while watching the veterinarians on his father's farm.His undergraduate career first began at Hannibal LaGrange College where he met his wife to be, Mrs. Love.He then transferred to the University of Missouri-Columbia where he continued his undergraduate career and went through veterinary school.

On May 31,1965 he and his wife started Webster Groves Animal Hospital in a white two story house.The hospital has grown and in 1981 the practice was moved to 7979 Big Bend Blvd. In the fall of 2003 the hospital moved into it's present location, a state of the art 16,000 square foot facility located at 8028 Big Bend Blvd.Dr. Love is the proud father of three children and the proud grandfather of one granddaughter.In his time away from work he likes to ride horses and has won several horse shows.Another favorite pastime is spending time with his granddaughter, Beth.
