Andrea received her architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a focus on environmental/green architecture and urban design.Through such projects as the Solar Decathlon Competition and a research project in Berlin, Germany with the Dessau Institute of Architecture, Andrea has explored the relationship between the built environment, natural environment, and the urban context.She studied abroad with the International Honors Program in India, South Africa and Brazil where she did research for her thesis on Environmentally Sensitive Community Development in Informal Housing Settlements.She has also received a grant and had gallery exhibitions for her photography work.
