Dr. Amanda Loftis joined Lilburn Animal Hospital in2005.She grew up in Utah, Arizona, Washington and Idaho.She received her veterinary degree from Washington State University.Right after school she worked in a small animal clinic in Post Falls Idaho.

A year later she was offered a position as an infectious disease researcher at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta.Her special interests are in pathology, clinical pathology and radiology.

She finds the human and animal bond an important part of veterinary medicine.She resides in Lilburn with her 6 year old Labrador retriever "Sol" and her 9 year old cat "Trouble".
