PageALERT System for the Coachella Valley

The PageALERT System is a new emergency management communications enhancement tool designed to provide the public direct and power independent emergency communications.The Coachella Valley is the first region, nation-wide, to integrate the PageALERT System into a regional area for transportation and emergency related activities.

Development of the PageALERT System involved emergency services managers throughout the Coachella Valley ; volunteer groups involved in disaster response ; and elected officials specifically concerned with public safety.The PageALERT Demonstration Project was funded by CVAG and Alert Systems, Inc. as part of Project 2020.
