   Mrs. Lloyd was born in Harrington, DE to the late Jonas and Alice Dean.
   
   Mrs. Lloyd was a graduate of the Greenwood High School Class of 1945. Along with her husband, she was a storeowner and worker for Lloyd's Country Store on Rt. 16 in Greenwood. Before owning the country store, she was employed at Nancy Lee's Dress Shop and Delaney's Frozen Foods also. At one time she was a substitute teacher for Harrington Elementary School.
   
   She was always active with the youth and operated the concession stand for the Little League and also taught Sunday School at Todd's Chapel Church in Greenwood. Mrs. Lloyd was very passionate about cooking. She loved to cook for her family and have delicious meals. One of her favorite pastimes was watching baseball. She especially loved her favorite team, the Atlanta Braves, and could be found cheering for them in front of her TV during the games. She was an avid birdwatcher and loved feeding and watching the finches and hummingbirds that came to her yard. She was also an antique collecter.
   
   Mrs. Lloyd attended the Pilgrim Chapel Church in Harrington, and was a past member of the Gideons and the Ladies Auxiliary of Kiwanis.
   
   She is preceded in death by her sisters Evelyn Nichols and Gertrude Ellwanger, and a brother Paul Dean.
   
   She is survived by her husband of 59 years Roy E. Lloyd of Georgetown; sons John E. Lloyd and wife Anita of Felton, Gary Lloyd and wife Choi of Clarksville, TN, David Michael Lloyd and wife Terry of Stafford, VA, Keith Lloyd and wife Debbie of Georgetown; beloved aunt Edna Tibbitt whom helped raise her; 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
