Director - Training and Business Development

Mrs. Lloyd has over 25 years experience of education and training at all levels.This includes 11 years experience in UK government colleges including Head of a Business and Management Studies Department and consequently in-depth knowledge of the whole range of thinking in this field from basic vocational training to Bachelor Degree level.In addition to this, she was for over 10 years, a main board Director of Pitman International Training, London UK one of the largest and best known UK training companies.Mrs. Lloyd was responsible for managing and developing 6 established distance learning centres and all overseas franchising operations.She was responsible for the development of the well known Pitman Colleges in Kuwait and Bahrain and her experience of Kuwait dates back to the mid 1980s.Mrs. Lloyd has experience of developing training programmes in other overseas countries including Indonesia, Taiwan, Turkey and Greece.She also has experience at Chief Examiner level for UK public examination boards and educational publishing and training programme design for the UK public sector.Mrs. Lloyd came to Kuwait in 1993 as Director of a large International School and training consultant for the same company.In 1995 she became Chief Executive of the British Institute of Training & Education.

In October 2002, as a result of the merger between BITE & HRD, Mrs. Lloyd moved to Head Office and is now Director of Training & Business Development, and also Director of newly established Kuwait-Maastricht Business School.

Mrs. Lloyd is a member of the British Institute of Management and the British Institute of Directors.
