Augusto Llosa, Ph.D., Field Program Manager, India, is an infectious disease epidemiologist.He has been involved with studies examining Hepatitis C among blood donors and recipients; Chagas disease in Honduras; the effects of H. pylori eradication on dyspepsia in Chiapas, Mexico; validation of a precancerous gastric lesion scoring system on a large cohort in Linqu, China; and the association between infection with H. pylori and subsequent development of pancreatic cancer.Augusto received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Epidemiology from Stanford University.
