    Newberry's Robert "Bob" Littlejohn spoke recently to Federal Information Technology officials about evolving information security standards at the acclaimed Potomac Forum's training workshop Feb. 25 and 26 in Washington, D.C.

    Littlejohn, Manager of the Security Practice at The Newberry Group, Inc., has over 17 years experience in Information Assurance and has conducted certification and accreditation in the various formats for a variety of agencies, including the Air Force Flight Test Center and the Army's Kwajalein Missile Range.He has also worked with the Joint Staff, National Command Authority and Department of Defense on information security issues.Before joining Newberry, Littlejohn most recently served as Information System Security Officer at the Transportation Security Administration's Transportation Security Operations Center.

    Littlejohn is one of the original developers of Potomac Forum's Certification and Accreditation seminar and has taught both the DOD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DOD) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) based processes.At the recent conference, he spoke with information technology personnel and contractors from federal agencies on how federal agencies can best conform to current information security standards.He is developing new methods to assist clients to meet both DOD and NIST standards at Newberry.He will continue to speak at upcoming forums throughout the year.
