    EVANSVILLE, Ind.--The awards continue to roll in for University of Evansville senior women's basketball player Megan Liffick (Whiteland, Ind./Whiteland), as she has been named to the NCAA Division I-AAA Athletic Director's Association Scholar-Athlete Team.

    Liffick, who received UE's Lois D. Patton Award honoring the Purple Aces' most outstanding senior female scholar-athlete two weeks ago, was one of 10 women's basketball players across the nation to be named to the NACDA Division I-AAA Scholar-Athlete team.Liffick also earned first team all-Missouri Valley Conference honors earlier this season, as well as honorable mention MVC Scholar-Athlete Team honors for her work both on the court and in the classroom.

    Liffick shared co-MVP honors with sophomore guard Rebekah Parker this season for Tricia Cullop's squad after leading the team in scoring with an average of 16.0 points per game in her senior year.

    Liffick also ranked among the MVC's leaders in steals, three-point field goals per game, three-point field goal percentage, and free throw accuracy this year.She also broke into UE's career Top 10 in scoring (9th-1,132 pts), steals (9th-131), free throws made (4th-307), three-point field goals made (9th-107), and free throw percentage (9th-77.3 percent) this year.

    Liffick helped the Purple Aces to a 16-13 overall record this season, and will graduate from UE later this month with a degree in exercise science.She has been accepted into a graduate-level physical therapy program at the University of Indianapolis.

    Whiteland senior Megan Liffick, who is set to break the Johnson County scoring record this season, has committed to Evansville University. The 5'11 guard averaged 22.9 points, 10.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.7 steals per game as a junior. She has started and scored in double figures in every varsity game throughout her high school career. Liffick will join Evansville commits Courtney Veach and Jessica Stewart, both seniors at Rockville, on the Aces roster next season.
