    A graduate of the Kelley School of Business (1982, Indiana University - Bloomington) with a degree in marketing, Kent Liffick's current focus is on all aspects of business development regarding Vision Racing for 2010 and beyond. He is particularly championing the cause marketing aspects of a health & wellness platform via the Vision Racing Wellness Tour, representing current team sponsors Lilly USA, CardioChek and Menards.

    Upon Graduation from Indiana, Liffick became the youngest sales manager in the history of Motorola Communications and Electronics based in Honolulu, Hawaii, until returning to Indianapolis in 1987 to work for the Hulman George Family. He became involved in with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum where he helped institute all the conservation measures and inventory control for Museum collection while developing a new brand focused on "the most diversified car collection in the world", new Hall of Fame Logo and formal induction ceremony.

    Liffick was also charged with sponsorship for the Inaugural Brickyard 400, when he designed, sold and launched independent corporate hospitality program on Olympic Village scale encompassing 300,000 square feet of temporary VIP hospitality facilities accommodating 8,200 NASCAR sponsor guests.

    Indy Racing League team sponsorship and business development was also on Liffick's list of accomplishments as he sold team sponsorship and series entitlement over the past several seasons.

    In his time away from racing, Liffick can be found cycling on road bikes and working out at Healthplex near Vision Racing. Kent is the proud father of son Matthew who attends Indiana University and is on the Dean's List majoring in Financial Management and Economics and is graduating in May 2010.

    Ken Liffick, assistant to the owner of Vision Racing, said that the cars used in Vision Racing are now approaching the last year of their lifespan. He said finding liability insurance for race cars isn't usually a problem. Most owners opt for the best coverage when the cars are brand new, but as they get old, insurance coverage becomes less pricey.

    "When the cars are brand new and have new chassis, all the drivers insure them," Liffick explained.

    Liffick joined the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation in 1987 after residing in Honolulu, Hawaii during a successful career as the youngest District Sales Manager in the history of Motorola C&E Inc.     He currently represents Tony George and the Office of the CEO in matters relating to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indy Racing League and Vision Racing.

    Liffick developed all branding, marketing and sales materials as well as a unique multi-faceted sales strategy for the Vision Racing IndyCar Series team, differentiating them from all other teams in motorsports. This following development and implementation of a comprehensive Market Development Plan (MDP) for all sixteen IndyCar Series race markets focusing on unique sales and event promotion strategies by cross referencing local fan demographics with the markets corporate community.

    Liffick developed the relationship with Northern Light Technology and northernlight.com CEO David Seuss which led to a 5 year, $50 million dollar series entitlement for the Indy Racing League changing the perception of the fledgling new series.
