Vermillion Press Release - [Cached Version]
Published on: 3/8/2006    Last Visited: 8/18/2006

Right now, we believe more women are wired to get innovation than men., said Mr Zern Liew, partner, Vermillion Consulting. ,Generally speaking, women are more aware of their emotions, tend to work with people better, to seek inclusive win-win situations, and are less driven by their egos.
    ...
The Vermillion ClearStart Programme, which supports new entrepreneurs with groundbreaking ideas by providing a substantial discount on consulting fees over a period of 3 years, was overwhelmingly awarded to businesses started by women. ,It is clear that many women have amazing ideas for well-rounded, pro-people, role model businesses., said Mr Liew.

Providing genuine support for the women in a business is also providing support for the emotional growth and maturity of that business. ,To genuinely connect with customers and employees, a business must become like a whole and integrated person. That demands an awareness of self, and the conscious adoption of all the ,soft, stuff essential to good interpersonal relationships.Women can bring a lot of these invisible assets to a business., said Mr Liew.

,We see women in business, lateral innovation and our Role Model business approach as complementary parts of our greater cause to rehumanise business practice., said Mr Liew.
