Ms Lieb will be responsible for overseeing all corporate communications and corporate marketing activities for Unapix Entertainment and its divisions, including the production, licensing and distribution of fiction and non-fiction films and television programming ; domestic and international sales, syndication, e-commerce, home video and DVD.She reports to both Mr. Fox and to Mr. Dreilinger.

As Unapix accelerates its activities in all areas of the entertainment industry and expands into new business areas, we were fortunate to find a communications executive with Rebecca's broad background, commented Mr. Fox.Her experience both as a journalist and in communications encompasses the multiple arenas in which we are active, including film, television and the international sphere..

Ms Lieb comes to Unapix Entertainment from Universal Television & Networks Group, which she joined in 1996 when the unit was still USA Networks International.There, she served as director, marketing and public relations, for global television channels.Previously, she was director, English-language corporate communications, RTL Television (Germany) where she oversaw U.S. advertising, public relations and marketing.Ms Lieb was also Variety's German bureau chief from 1990 to 1993.

After graduating from Vassar College, Ms Lieb worked on a master's degree in film history and theory at New York University and the Université de Paris.As a freelance journalist she has written extensively on media and, for ten years, worked as a publicist for numerous independent and foreign film distributors.Ms Lieb lives in New York City with her husband.Unapix Entertainment Inc.
