Joanne LiangJoanne Liang works in sales and marketing at Ghangzhou Marley Cooling Tower.She is a graduate of the Petroleum University of Eastern China, Shangdong, where she majored in international trade and commercial English.She became a Marley Cooling Tower employee in an unusual way.Aloysius Poh, vice president of MCT's Asia Pacific operations, was sending a fax at the Shangrila Hotel.Joanne was working in the business center.He told Joanne that he thought the bill for the fax was too high.She said that it was correct.He asked her what would happen if he refused to sign for the charge.Joanne said she would pay the charge.Aloysius was so impressed with her polite and gracious manner that he gladly paid the charge and suggested that Bill Ho, general manager of Ghangzhou Marley Cooling Tower contact Joanne about a marketing position.
