(RAHC) is a non-profit (501c3) corporation founded by Jeff Liang, Ph.D., (founder of Tallahassee Parent Magazine) providing necessary and sometimes critical family-oriented information throughout North Florida.This organization was restructured in 2001 with a new board.

Tallahassee's Family Forum magazine was founded in 1990 as non-profit magazine called Tallahassee Parent Magazine by Dr. Jeff Liang, founder of the non-profit Raising A Healthy Child, Inc.After five years of attempting to publish the magazine solely relying on community sponsorships, Jeff Liang sold the business to Lori Danello Roberts in 1995.

Raising A Healthy Child, Inc. Dr. Jeff Liang, local family therapist, created Tallahassee Parent Magazine (eventually Family Forum magazine) in 1990 to disseminate content from his parenting seminars.

In 1995, Dr. Liang walked through the doors of our publication design firm (Rapido Design) to solicit our design services.With association publications like The Florida Engineering Society Journal and the CPA Today under my belt, I leapt at the chance to design a publication centered on a personal passion-family.You see, I was a brand new mother and already devouring all the parenting publications I could get my hands on.

As we were negotiating design services, Dr. Liang confessed to not having the time or energy to continue publishing the magazine.He asked if I was interested in taking it over.
