Academically Jeff Liang, a Chinese-Canadian, was the only other student in my class who always scored well.Like me, Jeff didn't have any other friends either but was very lucky that he had Melissa, his older sister who was two grades ahead of us.I was slightly envious of Melissa and Jeff because they celebrated Christmas, Easter, Halloween (something my parents equated with begging) and pretty much all the other Christian holiday that I did not participate in because I was Hindu.

Jeffrey is a 3L at Seattle University School of Law where he is APILSA's Professional Development Committee Chair and the ABAW student liaison.He was selected to participate in the Asian Pacific Islander Community Leadership Foundation's 2006 Community Leaders Program and is the 2006-2007 King County Bar Foundation Scholar.Jeffrey volunteers his time as a basketball coach for APA youths at the Seattle Asian Sports Club.
