The Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau has appointed Elizabeth Li as its Business Development Manager , Asia, supporting the bureau's Hong Kong office in one of its fastest growing markets.
Based in Sydney, Elizabeth will be responsible for securing new business from Asian markets and providing sales and marketing support to the Hong Kong office.She will drive the bureau's business development strategies targeting Asian-based multi-national companies, travel agents and the association market in Asia.
Elizabeth joins the bureau from PTC Express Travel where she was Manager of Operations and Products.She has held past positions at Asian Connections Tours, Great Sights South Pacific and the Holiday Inn Lido Beijing.
SCVB Managing Director Jon Hutchison welcomed Elizabeth to the team and said having a dedicated business development manager was a sign of Sydney's commitment to its Asian markets.

Elizabeth was born and raised in China and is fluent in both Mandarin and English.She has lived and worked in Sydney for the past 14 years.
