    Housed in a brand-new multimedia complex in the heart of Westwood, the classrooms are fully equipped with brand new Mac G4 single and dual processors running Ableton Live, Propellerhead Reason, and Cubase VST. Lexa has also chosen to outfit his classroom with M-Audio,s BX5 studio reference monitors, Studiophile SBX subwoofer, and Oxygen8 keyboard controllers.

    Though he has been using M-Audio hardware for many years, a student recently turned him on to Ableton,s Live.Immediately impressed by the program,s sound quality, Lexa began integrating it into his Advanced Music Sequencing class. ,Loop-based sequencing has gotten to the level where it can be used in the most demanding professional situations and every music producer should be familiar with this form of music creation,, explains Lexa. ,Live was my program of choice because of its seamless cross-platform operation and its VST-plug-in and ReWire support.
