Uriel Levy (PhD) - VP Development

Uriel Levy received his B.Sc. degree in material engineering and physics from the Technion institute, Israel in 1996 (Cum Laude).He has received his Ph.D. degree (direct program) from the Tel-Aviv University.

Mr. Levy has previous experience as a project leader on several opto-electronics academic and industrial projects, dealing with optical communication, optical tracking systems, diffractive optical elements and others.He also has industrial experience in the areas of optical computing and optical signal processing.His main research areas are diffractive optical elements (design, analysis, fabrication and applications), including sub-wavelength elements, optical components (passive and active), optical communication, variable optical attenuators (VOA) and all-optical-switching devices.

He published more than 10 reviewed papers and holds several patents.He received several excellence awards, including, among others, Wolf scholarship, Rothschild fellowship, Eshkol fellowship and the Tel-Aviv University's excellence awards for outstanding teaching skills (twice).
