During this time, Lee has served on the Aleinu, Kehillah/Caring Community, Worship Committees and the Membership Sub-Committee of Long Term Planning.She is also a Life Member of Hadassah, a member of the Shabbat Havurah , WBI and the Mental Health Committee of JFS.

Jewish Family Service honored Lee with The Jack Stern Volunteer of the Year Recognition Award.She continues to support and consult at the Jewish Healing Center and facilitate bereavement groups.She presently coordinates the Bikkur Cholim program for the Kehilah/Caring Community Committee which she has chaired in the past.Currently she serves as co-chair of Membership.

Lee has enjoyed professional careers as a nurse, educator and social worker.She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree from Wesleyan University and a Master of Social Work degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
