Ms. LeVoy is the Practice Group Manager of Holland & Hart's Business Entities and Transactions practice group.Her practice focuses on business transactions, with an emphasis on finance and mergers and acquisitions, and cable and broadband transactions.
Ms. LeVoy represents both buyers and sellers in the purchase, sale, and exchange of assets and stock and in the merger context and companies and individuals in a variety of finance and other commercial transactions, and regularly reviews, drafts, and negotiates credit facilities, loan documentation, and commercial contracts, and advises clients in a wide variety of operational matters.She counsels clients in the corporate governance area, and also has a significant legal opinion practice.
Ms. LeVoy began her career at Holland & Hart, and then spent 11 years in-house as counsel to Jones Intercable, Inc. and its affiliated companies, where she represented Jones and its many public limited partnerships in the acquisition and disposition of various cable television systems, in the negotiation of their respective credit facilities, and in operational matters.Prior to joining Jones, she worked at Time Warner Cable.During her experience in house, Ms. LeVoy gained a unique perspective on the needs of clients and on the client service provided to them by outside attorneys.
Ms. LeVoy rejoined Holland & Hart's Denver office in 1999.In addition to serving as the Practice Group Manager of the Business Entities and Transactions practice group, Ms. LeVoy is the chair of the firm's audit letter committee and recruiting committee.
Ms. LeVoy served as a law clerk to Judge Will Garwood of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from 1982-1983.
