    Brian Levitt is a 1994 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a 1996 graduate of the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, with a Master's degree in Real Estate and Construction Management.

    Prior to joining Forest City Stapleton, Inc. in January 2001, Levitt was the Development Manager and Senior Analyst for Berland Real Estate, Inc. and Blackfox Real Estate Group, LLC, both commercial development firms operating in the Denver Tech Center.

    Levitt initially completed the Botanica Apartments and the East 29th Avenue Town Center at Stapleton, Denver's former international airport.The Town Center includes 68,000 square feet of retail space, a 58,000 square foot grocery store, 34,000 square feet of office space, and 144 apartments units overlooking a 2.5-acre town green.

    Levitt was formerly the Project Developer for Saddle Rock Village, a 400,000SF retail power center located in Aurora, Colorado at E-470 and Gartrell Road, and NorthField Stapleton, a 1,240,000SF outdoor retail power town center at I-70 and I-270, just east of Quebec Street.NorthField was a participant in the Xcel Design Assistance Program, and received Silver LEED Certification by the United States Green Building Council.

    Currently, Levitt is the Project Director for the Colorado Bioscience Park @ Fitzsimons which is a 6.5-million square foot, $2-billion science and technology park located east of Peoria and just north of the new University of Colorado Health Science Center, Anschutz Cancer Center, Children's Hospital and future VA Hospital.

    Levitt has successfully completed his accreditation process under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program conducted by the U.S. Green Building Council, and was a Voting Member of the national Retail Committee.Also, Levitt is a Member of the Urban Land Institute Sustainable Development Council.
