Birmingham-Ronald A. Levitt, partner with Walston Wells Anderson & Bains, LLP has been named president of the Birmingham Tax Forum.The Birmingham Tax Forum is an organization of local tax attorneys and accountants who are committed to providing continuing education and information about significant tax issues.

Mr. Levitt, who heads Walston Wells Tax Practice Group, serves as vice chair of the S Corp Committee of The American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Taxation.He recently served as Chair of the Alabama Bar's Taxation Section and as President of the Federal Tax Clinic, Inc..He received his J.D., M.B.A., and B.S. from the University of Alabama and his LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida.
