Lesly Levitas, OTR/L has over 11 years of experience in the field of occupational therapy.She earned her degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison and has worked as a Staff Occupational Therapist in pediatrics at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and as an Occupational Therapist for the Northern Suburban Special Education District.Most recently she worked for over five years as a Resource Clinician in the Technology Center for the Environment, Computer and Communication (formerly known as the Alan J. Brown Center) at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.Her experience includes conducting evaluations in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) access, computer access, electronic aids to daily living (i.e., environmental control), and adaptive toys.She also provided ongoing assistive technology treatment, family training and follow-up.Lesly has presented at numerous conferences, workshops, and inservices and has authored several articles pertaining to assistive technology.
