    Levine was appointed executive director of editorial projects for Condé Nast Publications in June 1998.In this new position, he helps develop new magazines, including Lucky, the shopping magazine that launched in 2001.Levine is currently developing a men's version of the magazine, planned for Spring 2004.Prior to rejoining Condé Nast, he served four years as vice president and human resources director at The New Yorker.Levine joined Condé Nast in 1991 as news editor for Traveler and was appointed managing editor a short while later.In addition to having spent a decade at The New York Times, he is the co-author of several books.
