Leo Levin (1971), later a high ranking federal court administrator; Allegheny County Bar Association leader Robert Cindrich (1991), later a federal district court judge and counsel for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center; and retired PA Supreme Court Justice Frank Montemuro, Jr. (2001), later a senior judge on the Pennsylvania Superior Court.

The recipients of the Awards were recommended to the ALI-ABA Committee by its Rawle Award Subcommittee consisting of Chair Susan R. Martyn, Professor of Law at the University of Toledo College of Law; Austin G. Anderson, a Principal in the AndersonBoyer Group and President of the Network of Leading Law Firms; Edward R. Becker, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; A. Leo Levin, Leon Meltzer Professor Emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and former Director of the Federal Judicial Center in Washington, D.C.; and Lizabeth A. Moody, Dean Emeritus and Distinguished University Professor at Stetson University College of Law.

A. Leo Levin , of suburban Philadelphia , professor emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania Law School , who will receive the ABA Award of Excellence in Judicial Administration from the Judicial Division Lawyers Conference.

The awards will be presented during the ABA Annual Meeting at the Division's Awards Luncheon at noon Aug. 3 at the Hotel Inter-Continental , 505 N. Michigan Ave. , Chicago.
