Mr. C.C. Leung, President of Quanta Computer, said yesterday (Feb. 21)that Company will maintain 40mn notebook PC shipment guidance, given the general concern over US subprime issue impact on notebook PC sales.He used US channel better-than-expected sales figures to demonstrate that notebook sales are at its normal low season, and Company notebook shipment will be down 10% from 4Q07.

Vice-Chairman - C.C. Leung

Mr.C.C. Leung was named Vice-Chairman of AUO since the company merged with Quanta Display Inc. (QDI) in October 2006.Prior to his current position, Leung was Executive Vice President of Quanta Computer Inc. and then promoted to Vice-Chairman.In 2005, he was named Vice-Chairman of QDI.Leung holds his Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the National Taiwan University.

C.C. Leung - Vice Chairman and President C.C. Leung is the co-founder and Vice Chairman of Quanta Computer. With over 30 years of industry experience in R&D, and manufacturing, C.C. was President of Quanta from late 1993 to mid-2006 and led the company into a period of rapid growth. He currently serves as President of Quanta Research Institute as well as Chief Research and Development Officer and as in charge of research and development strategies and roadmaps for new growth opportunities. C.C. has an undergraduate physics degree from National Taiwan University.
